All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Our little guy was the light in our lives. I can't tell you what a wonderful friend, buddy, and companion he was. Smart loving and loved so immensely in return. He was a teddybear, 11 years old.

Our dear Gracie is 15.5 and still going strong! Little wobbly in the hips and back legs but still full of love and life! Eats 2x per day...duck a la vege and is quite happy and regular! Lovely dog and so sweet, smart, and kind.
Our Teddy Bear pup Bella turns 1 tomorrow.
She has brought much joy and love to our family. She loves our grandchildren and other dogs and people she meets.
Ruby Cavalier whelped on 5/16/19. I selected her for her head size and long snout (pick of litter) and she is a superior specimen. 26 lbs,lean and a wonderful disposition. Denning farms treated us well and their Cavalier genetics are top notch.
My puppy, Henry, just had his first birthday this past Sunday so I wanted to come and leave a testimonial for Denning Farms! Henry has been such an amazing addition to our family (my husband and I). Everyone that meets him tells us that he is the cutest dog they have ever seen, and I definitely agree! I had never heard of a cavachon before finding Denning Farms, but I recommend the breed to everyone now! I can't wait to add a second pup to our family and will definitely be working with Tricia again when the time comes. This was our first dog as adults, and Tricia made the process so easy and we could not be happier. Henry has been extremely healthy and always gets rave reviews from his veterinarian. Highly recommend Denning Farms!!
We brought Leon home @ 3.5 weeks ago. My Big Boy has learned to use doggie door, go up and down stairs. Unfortunately, he can also Jump gate to stairs. Loving Him!!
Our “Leo” purchased on 6/14/21 is a warm, cuddly, smart Cockapoo!! She came to us after losing our 10 year old Cockapoo and could not have more completely filled that void. The entire process working with Tricia and Denning Farms was fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who asks!! Leo is beautiful and loved by all who meet her!!
