All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

My Maltipoo, Joey, will be 10 years old at the end of this year….it’s been 10 years of pure joy! He is an intelligent, spirited, cuddly little bundle of love and companionship! Best of all, he is in great health and has never had any medical issues. Though I was living in Iowa when he joined me, we now live in the southwest where we can both be outside all year long. I would highly recommend Denning Farms and I thank them for my Joey!
Falkor is a little over a year now got him last September. He loves playing with his toys & running around the yard. He also likes to play with his 2year old brother who is also a cavachon. He's been a amazing addition to the family 🙂
My puppy, Henry, just had his first birthday this past Sunday so I wanted to come and leave a testimonial for Denning Farms! Henry has been such an amazing addition to our family (my husband and I). Everyone that meets him tells us that he is the cutest dog they have ever seen, and I definitely agree! I had never heard of a cavachon before finding Denning Farms, but I recommend the breed to everyone now! I can't wait to add a second pup to our family and will definitely be working with Tricia again when the time comes. This was our first dog as adults, and Tricia made the process so easy and we could not be happier. Henry has been extremely healthy and always gets rave reviews from his veterinarian. My late husband and I got our Cockapoo from Dennings in 2005. He was a perfect match for us, energetic, healthy, inquisitive, intelligent, with a “please be my friend” attitude toward everyone he met. Curly traveled far and wide with us, hiking in Colorado’s mountains, swimming in a river near our daughter’s home, and loved being loved on by our eight grandchildren. Sadly, my husband (Curly’s Papa) passed from cancer in 2012. I still had to work, and Curly was so lonely without Papa. He went to the animal shelter with me and picked out a kitten, Bella. They bonded immediately. We lost Curly from congestive heart failure at age 15. The hole in our hearts is still immense, but I know he and Papa are reunited and Bella and I will see them again.
I got Luna in January 2019 and she has been the best friend a girl could ask for. She is such a sweet cuddle bug but she loves romping in the outdoors too. The whole process of getting her was super easy and the folks at Denning Farms were wonderful to work with. Luna has been a happy and healthy little dog and I have recommended Denning Farms to several friends already.
Our sweet Gizmo turned 10 last month. He is the healthiest sweetest boy and the most handsome. Easy to say your new puppy is great but our 10 year old is still as cute & healthy as a puppy. Will definitely look to Denning Farms again in the future.
