All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

We got Louie a little over a year and half ago now. He was my second denning farms dog. My family dog from my childhood a Yorkie-poo also came from denning farms she is turning 16 this January and has been the healthiest happiest most well adjusted and wonderful girl. We brought our Ozzy and Max home on December 20, 2019. They are the sweetest puppies, very lovable and smart. Working with Tricia was wonderful. We wanted two puppies from the same litter and she recommended these little guys because they got along well. They still do! They are lively and playful and have so much love to give. I got Luna in January 2019 and she has been the best friend a girl could ask for. She is such a sweet cuddle bug but she loves romping in the outdoors too. The whole process of getting her was super easy and the folks at Denning Farms were wonderful to work with. We are a married couple of 54 years and both of us retired from The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Mike worked in the Information Systems computer area for the hospital for 39 years. Phyllis was a Social Worker at the hospital and the community for 38 years. We have had Cavalier and Cocker fury kids all of our married lives. Our 12 yr. old Spaniel, Maddie died in May 2021. We miss her terribly. Our hearts and home want to adopt a little one to love and care for.
We have 2 adult married children and 2 adult grandchildren and 1 younger, 11 years old grandson. They love our sweet babies and care for them if we are away for a few days. So, we will be so grateful to be able to make a warm, loving home for a sweet Cavalier.
My husband surprised me with the puppy or my dreams the day after Christmas. He was perfect No health concerns and very well taken care of also she met us half way which was wonderful
Our dear Gracie is 15.5 and still going strong! Little wobbly in the hips and back legs but still full of love and life! Eats 2x per day...duck a la vege and is quite happy and regular! Lovely dog and so sweet, smart, and kind.

I have a male and female Teddy Bear.Ias hesitate because I always had large dogs .It took 12 years to get past the loss of my doberman.With the encouragement of my children these pups have helped me so much improving my health.Ive never been so blessed.The Denning family are great.Im even considering another.
